Cette superbe adaptation de l'histoire d'Edgar Rice Burroughs par Walt Disney Animation Studios raconte les aventures d'un bébé orphelin recueilli par une famille de gorilles et élevé comme l'un des leurs. Avec ses amis, Tok, le singe blagueur, et Tantor, l’éléphant névrosé, Tarzan apprend à "surfer", à se balancer de liane en liane et à survivre dans la jungle. À l’approche de l’âge adulte, sa première rencontre avec d’autres humains, pour lesquels il présente une affinité immédiate, change sa vie à jamais.

Une animation top, des décors magnifiques, le tout mis en valeur par des jeux de lumières sublimes, avec une bande son qui nous transporte et un scénario mature qui ose montrer les choses en restant très touchant et parlant, se basant sur le thématique de l'acceptation mais surtout de la confiance. Un sans faute.

Le meilleur de tous les Disney pour moi. A voir absolument, aucune niaiserie clichée et des dialogues légendaires !

Sublime ! L'histoire est bien ficelée, émouvante, des personnages drôles mais pas trop, au top ! Phil Collins accompagne le film avec une bande son inouïe, prodigieuse.
